MONDAY 25TH NOVEMBER 2019
2pm to 3 pm
Anita Pearce works for a group called Homeinstead which helps people stay in their own homes.
Anita gave a very informative talk to Tuesday Circle recently about Scam Awareness and has agreed to come along on 25th November to talk to us about Dementia Awareness.
It would be nice to see as many people there as possible the talk will be followed by tea and biscuits.
For more information contact Sue Hill or Jenifer Adams.
CHRISTMAS TOY SERVICE
Sunday 24th November 2019 @ 11.00am
Our toy service at Christmas enables Birmingham City Mission to give gifts to thousands of children in our city. Many of these children would otherwise not receive Christmas presents.
Thanks to the generosity of Birmingham’s people the BCM Christmas toy distribution to families in need has been running for 50 years and we are glad to be a part of this.
Donate a toy- suggestions are pasted alongside courtesy of BCM.
Please help by buying a gift for a child or organising a gift collection with your friends or work colleagues. Come to the service on Nov 24th @ 11.00am. We will ensure they get to BCM.
The children are aged between 0 and 16 years old. New toys, books, games and puzzles are needed (must be complete and unmarked).
Please do not wrap your present so we can match the gift to the child.
